To craftsmen who can offer both design and construction
design concrete workshop
What is design concrete?
Design Concrete® is a construction method with the use of concrete that allows you to build your imagination to shape, whether it’s the landscapes you saw overseas, your favourite interior designs from your travels, or the cute cafes featured in magazines.
Since it is built from scratch, we can create the image you have in your mind into a tangible form.
Skills taught in this workshop
Wall: Dezacon Wall (Wall Sculpting)
We can create the dreamlike overseas landscapes, the cozy vibe of a cute café or apparel shop you saw in a magazine, or any other image you have in mind. You can freely express your ideal walls in various spaces, such as residential homes, stores, and garages
Floor: MPC
Highly designed thin-layer concrete. With a thickness of only about 1mm, it is a material and technique that excels in both strength and workability. It's also highly recommended for its versatility in construction, allowing for the addition of logos, text, or color changes.
First layer: Installation of MPC Regular (with aggregate)
Second layer: Installation of MPC Smooth (without aggregate)
Third layer: The surface is finished smoothly with the installation of MPC Smooth (without aggregate)
Designs such as logos and text can be added using stencils
Apply topcoat to seal and protect the surface and you’re done!
Floor: Overlay (Stamp Concrete)
Stamped concrete allows you to design entrance porches with the warmth of materials like stone or wood. Depending on the design, you can express both a country-style atmosphere or an industrial vibe.
An overlay is applied on top of the existing concrete
2. Patterns are created using stamps
3. Patterns are applied across the surface using stamps such as rollers or mat-type stamps
4. Color is applied using antique release powder
5. The top coat is applied and the process is complete!

Design Concrete® workshop Overview
Testimonials from Design Concrete® workshop graduates
"I was looking to learn new techniques while mainly working in plastering and painting, and when I came across the Design Concrete® training by Country Base / Overseas Construction, I felt confident that I could meet the growing demand for special requests. I decided to enroll in the course.
After completing the training, I was able to connect with many people through my network, and not only did it expand my skills in construction, but it also created opportunities for communication among craftsmen. Now, those connections have become invaluable assets to me."
Mark
"I inherited the waterproof coating business from my boss, but I wanted to acquire new skills in my generation and expand the business, so I took the Design Concrete® training.
After completing the course, I installed wall sculpting, MPC, and Soi in our office, turning it into a showroom for business promotion. I am also actively introducing Design Concrete at local events to help spread awareness.
Now, I regularly take on exterior and interior construction projects and have expanded my Design Concrete activities in Okinawa."
Steve
"I originally worked mainly in the painting industry, but after participating in the Design Concrete® training by Country Base / Overseas Construction, I gained new skills and expanded my perspective. After completing the training, I actively participated in various sites for support and observation, expanding my network within the industry.
At the sites I joined, I made sure to share information, and thanks to this, I've received more job inquiries through platforms like TikTok and Instagram. In particular, I've noticed an increase in requests for special coatings and plaster work, and I feel that the scope of my work has greatly expanded."
